Meet Your Guides.....

CHUCK REA ~ As a former Avalanche Forecaster and Cat Ski Guide, Chuck knows the local area as well as anyone.  After several winters in the Sierra Mountains and the San Juans of southern Colorado, he relocated to McCall, and has explored the local backcountry for the past eleven seasons. Chuck has been teaching avalanche safety classes for the past eight years and is a trained course provider for the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE). Chuck has spent his summers as a river ranger or a wilderness raft/kayak guide on the Middle Fork and Main Salmon Rivers since his arrival in Idaho.

He also spends his summers guiding folks down the Middle fork and Main Salmon rivers here in Idaho, and loves to paddle whenever he can.

He is certified in Wilderness First Aid, Level 1 & 2 Avalanche Safety, and was a ski instructer at Brundage . He spent his summer in Alaska guiding hikers through the wilds.

Gregg is an avid nordic skier and is the trail groomer at the Little Bear Basin Nordic Trails. He was very involved with bringing the World Masters to McCall last winter.
